Super Mario Bros. Wonder is so fun! The animations feel inspired from The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) the game is full of WONDER and joy. You can't help but smile and laugh. Nintendo definitely has a lock on the nostalgia but also leaves room for new ideas and constantly evolves these beloved characters.

It's amazing how fast a 2D game like this shot up to the top of my Game of the Year list for 2023.
